    1. volcanoes and earthquakes along the Ring of Fire is caused by the amount of movement of tectonic plates in the area

    2. The crust & upper mantle

    3. Geyser activity, like all hot spring activity, is caused by surface water gradually seeping down through the ground until it meets rock heated by magma.

    4. "Ring of Fire," because its edges mark a circle of high volcanic and seismic activity (earthquakes). Most of the active volcanoes on Earth are located on this circumference.
