    Yes there is evidence that there have been some degradations to these very important foundational elements for democratic capitalism

    Explanation:

    Democratic capitalism which could also be termed economic democracy has long been defended on the grounds that the free market system, full competition and "no government intervention" consequently leads to a more efficient and thriving market and economy. Although evidence seen from the historical facts have seen a more powerful economy driven by this system as compared to the opposite. This system has seen moral and ethical decadence in the form of greed and malicious material acquisitions which counter the welfare of the people. The everyday evidence is continuously seen in small and large corporations that would do anything to stay profitable and acquire larger market share.

    To a great extent it affects capitalist proponents from populating the view further seeing its consequent effects in America. However I do not think it would affect china or India negatively or otherwise as these places are well adopted to this system, albeit to a lesser degree than America.
