    The National Incident Management System (NIMS) is a body made by the department of homeland security and is used to manage incidents. NIMS is guided by three principles which are, flexibility, standardization, and unity of effort which is the third principle added in 2017 and it means coordination of activities among various organizations to achieve the same objectives.
