The contemporary world's urban population rate is more than that of the overall population growth. The main reason behind it that peoples are moving to urban places from rural places just because of there growth.

    Explanation:

People are moving to Urban places because of the opportunities available there. Urbanization is being developed in those places where the factories are more and they required people to work there and most rural people will work as a laborer.

Urbanization is also affecting the economic condition and the land property of the urban places as people are being gathered there from rural places.
