Protestantism has contributed significantly to the emergence of the American nation and its identity.

    Explanation:

The immigrants - members of a wide variety of groups, churches and confessions - brought Protestantism to the British colonies of North America, which later became the United States of America. There, Protestantism gained and preserved to this day - more faces. There is no one state church. Countless churches fight for believers. Charismatic preachers gave voice to the Protestant movement. New confessions and numerous social reform movements have emerged, including the so-called "black churches" of African-Americans.
