    8000/-

    Explanation:

    Let the income of the fourth family be X

    4000 + 7000 + 5000 + x / 4 = 6000

    Cross multiply

    16000 + X = 24000

    Collect like terms

    X = 8,000

    The income of the fourth family is 8,000

    Answer: Rs8000

    Explanation:

    Total income of 4 families is 6000 x4 = Rs24,000

    Total income of 3 families

    4000 + 7000 + 5000 = 16,000

    4th family income = 24000 - 16000 = Rs8000
