    Answer:Assimilation

    Explanation:What Is Assimilation

Assimilation is a cognitive process in which we take in the new infromation and associate it with the existing Information. For example, A young child learns a new word dog as form of pet family and because of this in the future he or she is able to call similar looking canine as a dog. This learning has given the achild an ability to understand that a dog refers to all other 4 footed animals. We are able to adjust into new but similar experiences because we have a prior knowledge that has equipped us with understanding of what to do in those situations for example we know how to dine because of our previous dining experience
