    Below are some of the reasons of learning/studying history:

    To understand the events that occurred for a reason. To know that how everything emerged? World, mountains, people etc. One must also learn about the mistakes and flaws that our past generation did, and in order to not repeat them in future, i is important to study. To Follow the past achievements and carry them forward. For future development/prediction it s mandatory to see the past trends so that steps can be taken accordingly.

    History is important to study so that we can learn how/why we got where we are as a species, and to learn from the mistakes our ancestors made so that we can better ourselves as a society.
