In the 1400's no one had figured out a waterway to travel to Asia yet so what route did all journeys to Asia take

    The maps were unclear and limited. So trading with Asia was done traveling by ground. Until Columbus, who thought that by saling west he would arrive to Asia, but he encountered a different world: The Americas in 1492.
