I am assuming you mean a course in your school ... in AP classes the expectation of students is more than any honors or cp class. There is usually more work and pressure. The class difficulty may depend on the teacher and if they fit with your learner style. If you do not agree with there teaching methods, then yes, it can be harder. It also depends on you.
