The story of Noah and the great flood.

    Explanation:

According to the Sumerian texts, Ziusudra was a king who had a vision about gods discussing a terrible event which was to occur on earth. In his vision, the god Enki advised him to construct a huge boat so that he would a great flood. Unlike the biblical story, the flood mentioned in the Sumerian text only lasted for seven days and seven nights but Ziusudra was similar to Noah in character. They both were obedient and modest. The purpose of the flood is also similar in both texts. It was to destroy all humanity from the earth.
