Scenario: A homeowner was at his house at 10 p. m at the time of the incident. He told police he heard banging and glass break from the back of his house. The homeowner grabbed his gun and killed his 7-year-old son who accidentally locked himself out of the house. Under the Stand Your Ground Laws, the homeowner has the right to protect his property. Should the homeowner face charges of murder being that his son lived at the same home? Why or why not?

    Yes because either way you look at it, its murder, he killed someone with a future ahead of them and the person took it from them, he deserve punishment.

    No, it was an accident he didn't know it was his son, he was trying to protect himself from whoever was trying to get in.
