There is nothing Lois can do other than filing for appeal of the judgement. This is because, she tend to forget that, there is a thin line between freedom of expression and outright disrespect.

Even though she write satirical articles, she should have known when to tone down her articles on portrayal of people in a dehumanising way. Unfortunately, there is a possibilty of Lois losing the appeal also.
