In what ways is media responsible for promoting the public good?

Communication of public good. It assumes as one of its fundamental purposes education and social mobilization around programs, issues or problems of great importance for all or much of the citizens. It manifests itself in those strategies or campaigns produced to change values, attitudes or public behaviors, for this it relies on mass communication.

It functions as a mass mobilizer, as it organizes, educates and informs the population or a specific group of people about specific ideas, programs, or problems.
