    The slaughter case is one of the historic case in the history of America. It took place in the year 1873.

    It is basically a series of the Supreme court cases which rendered effectively of the 14th amendment which provided equal rights to all.

    Even though the 14th amendment protected the equal rights of the blacks but it fails to provide the economic privileges which was guaranteed to them.

    It also allowed the state legislatures to suspend all the blacks' legal as well as civil rights which is outlined in the Constitution. Thus it came under the control of the state government.
