The ocean current most likely to affect container ships are warm current.

    Explanation:

Ocean current are for me as a result of unusual heating of the oceans. Currents affect ships during their voyages. A ship that is steaming against a current will need to use more fuel in maintaining a required speed. A warm current is likely to keep ports ice - free during winter. This is particularly due to the North Atlantic Drift that introduces warm water to the North West European coast and ports. The cold current introduces very cold water to the coast which causes sea ports to freeze.
