How did Indus River Valley civilizations use irrigation techniques?

Farmers used irrigation to protect fields from land overuse.

Farmers used irrigation to offset flooding and protect crops.

Famers used irrigation to manage the water supply for crops.

Famers used irrigation to create land for better roads and houses.

    Explanation:

    At that time, the majority of regions in Indus River Valley Civilization consist of soil that contain high quality nutrient. This make it easier for the people to grow their staple crops.

    But, not all regions is located near walking distance with the river. So, some farmers found some troubles if they have to walk to the river just to get enough water for their farm.

    By using Irrigation technique, they eliminated this problem by creating some sort of pathways that transferred the water from the river to the farms that located in far proximity from the river,.
