The answer is False.

In the United States the official date for federal taxes are due on April 15, since 1955 this has been the official date.

When it was first created the Tax day in 1913 the deadline date was on March 1, but 3 years later it was moved to March 15 till finally in 1955 to April 15. Also due to holiday or other issues the official date has been changed a few times, but only a few days of difference as to April 16 or 17, 18.
