What is one way the White Colony differed from the Lane Colony? The White Colony was located in North Carolina. Only male settlers lived in the White Colony. Women and children were part of the White Colony. The White Colony did not interact with American Indians.

    Both colonies were on the same place, Roanoke Island, in North Carolina and depend on American Indians for food and others supplies, but in Lane Colony there were male settlers while in White Colony there were few women and children too.
