During a research that took place in the north of Belize, they found archaic spearheads, axes to work wood, feathers, ceramics and stone tools, which in a effort of interpretation can be estimated how the Mayans survived in inhospitable areas. In the case of agriculture, it concludes that it is not only food, but also medicinal plants or fibers such as cotton. In this way, such artifacts went out to the market, places that not only represented a site for exchange with other settlements, but also of knowledge, supervised by the leaders of each place.
