In The Metamorphosis by Peter Kuper, Gregor working life is a routine and same every single day, he only has working life and no social life or personal ilfe which all have an efect upon his character and Gregor deals with difficult issues in his life by remainiing objectively calm and does not believe real situation, therefore, he is in denial and unrealistic, and decides not to confront with difficult issues in his life which makes him to gide from his problems
