What are gender roles? Describe some of the gender roles for your gender. What happens If you behave or think in ways that don't fit these gender roles?

Answer: Gender roles are stereotypes that are for a lack of better terms assigned to each gender. As a girl some gender roles that pertain to me would be to always be polite, and act like a lady at least in public, and that i need to be conservative in order to not bring attention to myself. If i were to go against these things i get labeled as a slob, wh0re, attention seeker basically being punished.

as a girl if you act like a guy or manly you are considered wanting attention or weird, and sometimes a freak.

gender roles aren't really binding people anymore though
