When it comes to having a sick father or grandfather many possibilities are considered, the guilt of taking a nursing home or leaving them to the care of nurses seems to be widespread. But in reality the problem occurs when either because of guilt or love, family members feel the obligation to care for the sick.

In addition to the particular life of the caregiver, obligations, work, etc., we must then add the care of a patient with this type of disease, which is not easy.

The patient's loss of memory or momentary disorientation along with (in more severe patients) violent episodes can lead to the caregiver having to focus all his/her attention on the patient, which leads to social isolation as a first level due to lack of time and triggers fatigue (or other physical problems) and depression.
