If you've been a victim of identity theft, what should you do after contacting the company that reported the suspiícious charge and issuing a credit fraud report?

    Contact one of the credit reporting agencies' fraud alert departments and place a fraud alert on your credit report.

    Tell the agency you think your identity has been stolen.

    One call does it all.

    I think that you should get it taken care of as fast as you can before they continue the identity theft. Another thing you could do is contact your credit card company and try to remember your credit card number so that they can disable the card so the person that stole the cand doesnt have access to the card anymore.
