Difference between bhangar and khadar ... it is not as fertile as the khadar soil. Khadar soil is new and younger deposits of the alluvium soil on the flood plains. This soil is renewed every year and thus is comparatively more fertile than the bhangar soil.

We can differentiate them on the basis of age. Khadar is new whereas Bhangar is old.

    Explanation:

Bangar is an old alluvial soil whereas, Khadar is new alluvial soil. Bangar contains big nodules called 'kankar' whereas khadar does not have that. This is an old soil which is alluvial in nature and is above the flood levels of the rivers in the region.
