This statement is not correct, as it is incomplete. To the expenses of social security which will no longer be paid by your employer, you need to consider other budgets, such as medical care (dental, hearing), other periodic expenses such as car or home repair, and any other charges you may want to consider, such as travel expenses. You may also want to consider some activities which you will no longer spend money on, such as transportation costs from work commuting.
