Why do you think that the Founding Fathers decided that a member of the House of Representatives should have the shortest term in office? Explain.

    This was so that the people had a chance to make their choice of representatives more often.

    Explanation:

    The House of Representative is made out of the direct representatives of the people.

    They are the ones who can be in direct contact with the voter base of the region they are elected from so in a way they are the most integral part of the ground level democracy of the region.

    This means that more frequently the elections happen for that, the easier it is for the people to exercise their right to vote and to chose their ideal candidate.
