Why is it important to secure the crime scene? What do you think would be the most difficult part of doing this?

    It important to secure the crime scene to ensure evidence is not tampered with and the area is preserved correctly for investigators, analysts, and forensics.

    The most difficult parts of doing this is if it is a high profile case with media coverage, if witnesses/potential subjects are on the scene prior to the arrival of the criminal justice team (especially if the scene is in a residential or commercial area), or if a victim (s) who needs life support is on the scene.
