As most of African countries were colonies from European countries, most of them face difficulties related to infra-structure (water supplies, electricity) as well as religious persecution from groups as Boko Haram, that have killed many Catholic Nigerians in the last decades, due to different religious beliefs. In Ethiopia, we can also see hunger, bad distribution of wealth, bad educational structure and political battles.

    Answer and Explanation

After African countries gained their independence they faced various challenges which are termed as the consequences of being independent

They became divided so as to serve the new territorial interests. Before independence these countries were initially organized administratively along communities' This was because the colonialists had created territorial boundaries ... On this the colonialists left behind power vacuums which led to more conflicts among african countries The european colonialists deliberately failed to empower the colonized societies economically. On this colonialists took advantage of the situation and continued to exploit different african countries.
