What is the inverse of the function f (x) = -6*-7? f-1 (x) =

    Replace f (x) with y:

    y=-6x-7

    now flip the x and y:

    x=-6y-7

    now solve for y:

    (x+7) / -6=y

    replace y with f-1 (x):

    f-1 (x) = (7+x) / -6

    (btw, this is mathematics, not social studies)
