The Islamic empire have more impact of the Nothern region of Africa than the Roman empire.

This is as a result of so many factors like the region being closer to the Middle East, the region sharing similar culture and tradition and also, the climatic conditions being favorable to the Islamic conqueror.

In contrast, the Roman empire focused on the Western region due to trade than the any other thing like conversion.
