Why is Neptune, and not Pluto, considered the planet farthest from the sun?

Neptune's moons are further from the sun than Pluto is, even though Neptune itself is not.

Pluto is now classified as a moon of Neptune.

Pluto is no longer classified as a planet.

Most of the time, Neptune is further from the sun than Pluto is.

    Pluto is no longer considered a planet because its the farthest planet and is very small
