    Explanation:

    There are times in which the mass media has to be researched in order to know how the media is been used. One of the models in which the mass media can be researched on is the one introduced by Jay Blumler and Elihu Katz which is known as the Uses and gratification model.

    The Uses and gratification model can simply be explained as when the audience has gain pleasure in their needs that is to say when

    there is gratification in people's needs, then it becomes easier for them to be satisfied.

    In other words, the people uses the media people use the media to satisfy various emotional desires and an important example is the concept of choice for music.
