Alexander the Great (356 BC - 323 BC) was born in the kingdom of Macedonia, part of ancient Greece. He managed to create one of the largest empires in those times, from Greece, embodying the whole Middle East until the Northwest regions of India. He unified all the traditional Greek territories and afterwards he expanded towards the East the territories of the empire. He was a great military commander, never defeated in battle.
