During this period, people begin to revive or restore their work through their conscious efforts to form their identities and the first step is to 'split off or break away' from the mentors. At this stage, the people become more devoted and involved towards their commitments towards family or community in order to establish a role or niche in the community.

Adult men make a conscious effort to form there own Identities because they feel like they need to in order to prove themselves to others. They need to make there own path away from there mentors so that others recognize them and think of them. This is also just the way a man's mind works. It has been like this ever since the beginning of man.
