The correct answer is B. He was looking for the wisdom of God. Muhammad was very reflective and spent whole nights meditating in the cave of Hira which was located 3 km from Mecca. There in this cave Muslims believe that Muhammad received the first revelations from God through the angel Gabriel, he received the first revelation of the Koran in the Night of Power.
