    I believe the answer is: economically privileged youth are more likely than their less privileged peers to define their activities as fun and not work.

    This behaviour could be explained due to the fact that privileged youth almost never encounter the type of hardship that the less privileged peers experienced. This make it much more easier for the privileged youth too see their works or life in general as something fun compared to the less privileged youth.
