How is weather different from climate? Weather relates to temperatures and climate relates to precipitation. Weather affects where people live, and climate affects how they dress. Weather relates to conditions in the long-term, and climate is only for the short-term. Weather are the conditions for a single day, and climate is the pattern over a period of time.
