Taft was at once an ardent support of and an advisory to Roosevelt but in a sense brought his ideas to bear more completely in his presidency.

    Explanation:

Taft became the President after the two terms of Teddy Roosevelt were over and he was expected to follow the precedent set by Teddy in his economic policies and the breaking up of the large industries in the country.

This was taken a step further by him however when he broke apart US steel. this upset the biggest stake holding businessmen there.

He also brought in the concept of the non confidence motion which could now make the President much more responsible for their action than it made them before.
