According to your text, how did gay men resolve their dissonance when two central aspects of their identities conflicted? As a reminder, these were gay men who strongly identified with their Christian churches and whose ministers made anti-gay pronouncements. If they decided to stay with their church, how did they respond?

They blamed the minister but kept going to the same church.

    Explanation:

Being a gay, a lesbian or even a bisexual in the society has many challenges, although the way other people view them as ''bad eggs' has reduced but they still face social problems regardless.

According to the Bible in which the Christians do read and which is like a 'light' for them in order to walk and live a righteous lives, being gay is a sin. And because of this, the ministers of the churches in which these gay members attend made the anti-gay pronouncements.

When the ministers made the anti-gay pronouncements, the gay members kept blaming the minister but they never stop going to the same church.
