What were the positive and negative consequences of the Cuban missile crisis?

Positive = Both superpowers intended ti try and prevent [ulear war in the future, known as the Dentente

Kennedy showed himself to be a powerful leader who was challenging the Soviet Union

Negative = Tensions were high as there was poor communications and this could have led to nuclear war.

Khrushchev also looked so weak after that he was no longer popular in the Soviets eyes and this contributed to his removal as leader in 1964.
