    I believe the answer is: Law

    The term 'law' in scientific concept refers to pattern of occurences that exist and had been objectively proven. For example, due to the similarty of objets' movement due to gravity, we can establish law of gravity, which dicatate that every objects on the earth is pulled down by invicible forces known as gravity

    Law are principles and regulations formulated in a society by authorities as applicable to people in guiding their conduct, such law could be a legislation or some form of policies, customs, which is recognised by judicial system.

    They are also rules and regulations set aside with the aim of upholding peace and security of a society or group, such laws could be formulated based on culture, acceptable norms, trends, traditions, etc.

    There are basically 4 types of law.

    Criminal law, civil law, common law and statutory law.
