    Answer:Both have low growth rate

Explanation:We have four stages of demographic transition

    1) Preindustrial age:This is characterized by little population growth due to the harsh living conditions which leads to both a high birth rate and a high death rate.

    2) Transitional stage : This is characterized by the beginning of industrialization. Food production, health care improves which results in better conditions and death will rates drop coupled with high birth rates. The result is rapid population growth

    3) industrial stage:At this stage the birth rate drops but population keeps growing. M ore medical advances, and modernization. Most developed countries are in industrialstage

    4) Post industrial stage : This is characterized by decline in the birth rate which is at the same rate as death rate, this will lead to zero population growth and population size will reduce if the birth rate should fall below death rate.

So a common feature between stage 1 and 4 is low growth rate.
