The correct answer is: A purpose and final destination.

    Explanation:

Greek mythology is the set of myths and legends belonging to the culture of Ancient Greece, which deal with their gods and heroes, the nature of the world, the origins and the meaning of their own ritual cults and practices.

Most of the ancient civilizations did not share that vision of time as a linear continuum that extends to infinity (vision of Judeo Christian influence). Ancient peoples believed that time was cyclical in nature that they followed repetitive and reversible schemes, these schemes being reflected in nature itself. In one civilization after another, we find myths that announce the final destruction of the world. The destiny of the world is to be destroyed and then reborn, after each cataclysm a new world would be created and humanity would progress again through different stages.

In Western and Eastern cultures, most religions have believed in destiny forms especially related to predestination, from the tao of Chinese Confucianism or the karma of Hinduism to the Catholic and benevolent Providence or Grace, which leaves some room for freedom, or the strong predestination of Calvinism.

The Greeks called fate and considered it a superior force not only to men, but even to the gods themselves. This entity, Hado (supreme god), had established that, just as Kronos chained his father, his son would do it with him. Destiny was personified by the goddess Moira, renamed Fatum in Roman mythology.

The answer is a purpose and a final destination.

The western myth of life as a journey implies that there is a beginning and an end and has purpose or meaning. We are just along for the ride, we do not know where our final destination will be but our destiny will dictate the outcome.
