Problems are always present at various stages of a family. It is common for a father to feel the need to want to provide for his family since he understands that this is his role. When a father faces the difficult situation that he is fired and that one of his children is sick, he may feel useless and not know what to do. In this case, if my children ask me the correct thing is to tell him the truth but to tell it in a way where they can understand the situation.

Many parents understand that it is better not to say anything to children and use lies so that they do not suffer, but what they do not know is that uncertainty is a form of suffering. Although a father tells his children that nothing is happening, they may perceive that things are not right and may begin to have doubts and even generate anxiety. The truth is the best policy and if it is said in a good way the children can be calmer. It is also important for children to know that there will be good and bad times and when the bad times come it is time to learn to face them.
