Film editing is a post production process that involves shaping the material according to the directors vision. Both feature and documentary films are edited where in the feature film you can add more in post production. Directors that choose not to edit their material and trying to show the rawest material, that almost resembles the theater. The result is a documentary like sceenes that provoke the audience to engage more in the film because it seems like they are participating in the action instead of merely being the spectators. One of the examples of this form is Danish Dogma movies.
