Using what you learned from the charts in section 5.03 about the disparity in

consumption, discuss some of the humanitarian services that could be provided

globally to all who don't currently have those services at a cost less than certain

items consumed in developed regions of the world, like the United States and

Europe. What services could be provided globally? What are some examples of

unnecessary items consumed in developed regions of the world that have more

money spent on them that it would cost to provide many of those services? How do

you think this reflects upon societies in developed countries? Do you think this can

and should change? Why or why not?
