Compare and contrast monotheism to polytheism

Monotheism and Polytheism are different in the sense that a monotheistic religion beliefs in one god while a polytheistic religion beliefs in multiple gods. Both types of religion are based around the beliefs and attitudes that followers must abide by in order to live a virtuous life.

Examples of monotheistic religions are Christianity, Judaism, and Islami. Examples of polytheistic religions are Hinduism and Taoism.
