    Explanation:

    After the World War I, Germany an its allies suffered a huge defeat. In order to celebrate the defeat of Germany, the victors decided to impose restrictions on Germany. First, Germany was made to sign the treaty of Vesallies. This was a treaty in which they acknowledge the defeat. More over, Germany had its coal-rich territory handed down to France. Both empires were charged with one thing - causing trouble to the world.
