The correct answer is - True.

The birds of myths and legends have most commonly been described as mediators between the Gods and the humans. Very often, certain types of birds have been associated with supernatural powers, most commonly being able to communicate with both the human and the divine worlds, mediating between the both worlds. Also, it is not rare that some Gods have come in the shape of a bird, or at least had part of a bird in their appearance. The birds that most often have been used in this context have been the eagles and the falcons. The reason why the birds have been given such powers by the ancient humans is that they thought that the Gods live in the skies, and since the birds were able to fly, some of them very high, the humans thought that the birds are able to go in the world of the Gods too, thus showed a lot of respect and admiration.
